We are thrilled to announce the addition of Nutrition Counselling to our holistic health services!

The impact of food on mood (and vice versa) is significant and undeniable.  Nutritional deficiencies, inflammation in the body, the health of our gut, over-consumption of highly processed foods, and much more can all influence anxious and depressive symptoms such as lethargy, decreased energy, lack of enthusiasm and so much more.

Our holistic therapists understand the impact of food on mood.  Some of us have trained to become health coaches in order to help our clients make some changes that can dramatically improve their health by making changes to their nutritional habits.  Many clients will benefit from Nutritional Counselling to deeply explore and make significant changes to improve their health.

What if specific changes to nutrition could alleviate and resolve certain psychological symptoms?  What if psychotherapy could help you, in conjunction with nutritional counselling, to resolve mental or emotional symptoms that influence food choices and habits?  Our mind-body approach (which can include collaborative care between our therapists and nutritional counsellors, as desired by you) can yield transformative change in your life.

Due to the importance of each individual’s biological make-up and needs, nutritional counselling will be focused and tailored to meet your body’s unique requirements.  Bio-individuality is an important concept that we place a high value on.  No two clients will receive the same approach, as there are so many factors to consider, which include (but are not limited to), the right quality of food, best timing for meals, optimal digestion of nutrients, proper hydration, , lifestyle choices, and more!
