Individual Counselling ($160 ~ Limited sliding scale spots available) ~ Online Availability

Your story matters. Each of our individual journeys impacts how we relate to each other and the world, for better or for worse. If we can understand how we got here – to pain, suffering, feeling trapped or hopeless; I believe we can find our way back out.

When life gets difficult, having compassion for our stories and the challenges we’ve overcome to be here today can help us get unstuck.

Therapy is a place for you to unpack some of the weight of day-to-day life in a safe space. To experience a mirror of compassion so that you may love yourself into the change and life you deserve. As a therapist, my mission is to help you grow in self-compassion, self-esteem and self-understanding. My hope is to empower you to find your own autonomous solutions to life’s challenges while supporting your mental health.

My approach is culturally sensitive, trauma informed and LGBTQ+ affirming. I take a holistic and integrative lens with an understanding of impacts of intergenerational and relational trauma, family systems, and attachment-based issues on present day functioning. We will start where you are comfortable, with small achievable goals, and work through issues together as they arise. I am here to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental space to support you as you to walk your own path.

If you are curious about therapy or interested in working with me at Sunnyside Healing Arts, I encourage you to reach out for a consultation. You can discuss what brings you to therapy, whether we might be a good fit and other expectations, fees and scheduling.
